How to replace the blades from a broaching tool?
Make sure you have the CORRECT broaching blades for the broaching tool you have.
For example, if you have the tool BT332-2, make sure you use the BTSB332 broaching blades!
After making sure you have all the correct pieces, meaning:
- Broaching tool
- Spare blade, 2 or 4, depending on the tool
- Allen keys to unscrew the tool
You can remove the old tools and install the new blades.
Make sure to have the blades in the right direction as shown in the video below.
After putting the blades in the bottom of the tool in the correct position, you can slide over the body of the tool.
Then install the top of the tool.
When you've screwed in the insert and the screw inside the broaching tool, it's ready for use!
