Broaching Tool / Imperial
Broaching tools are used to pre-broach holes for very hard materials with a hardness greater than 30 HRC or 300 Vickers. The broaching tool BT937-4 is used to pre-broach the following clinserts: CLX1018J CLX1011J MS51832-208 MS51832-108
This includes the locking versions as well as the inserts in different materials.
We recommend purchasing 1 set (=4 blades) extra with the tool: BTSB937
When installing more than 10 inserts we recommend to use the stronger Resisteel® Tool which has been tested to last approximatly 50x longer: BTR937-4
Anemo isn’t able to ensure the quantity of holes that can be pre-broached, as it’s primarily dependent on the hardness of the parent material and the correct utilization of the tool.
