To begin the installation, open the BT…-BOM pdf file of the tool you need to install.

Check if you have all the components of the BOM in front of you as well as the 2 allen keys.

Step 1:

Align the spare blades in the bottom of the broaching tool.

Make sure to put them in the correct direction.

As the first picture shows with the yellow circle,

Spare blades have a nodge.

The blade has two sides:

  • Nodged side
  • Straight side

The nodged side (1)  needs to be on the INSIDE of the tool.

Make sure to hold the blades at the bottom of the tool:

Step 2:

When the blades are placed in the bottom of the tool correctly, place the rubber over the blades so that they are better fixed in the bottom of the tool:

  Step 3:

Put the body over the blades and fit it in the bottom of the tool.

Make sure to carefully align the hole of the body and the bottom, so this fits nicely when screwing in the M3 screw:

Step 4:

Place the top of the tool.

Make sure that the sleeve (3) in the body of the tool, is aligned correct to the insert hole (4) with the top of the tool.

The best way to install the top is to push the blades from the bottom in the top one by one.

                Step 5:

When the top is placed in the body of the tool, place the screw at the bottom of the tool, and fix the screw with the allen key M2.5:

Step 6:

Place the insert in the top of the tool and fix the insert with the allen key M2:

You have successfully installed the broaching tool.
