The Clinserts® Extrakt Kit is a purpose built engineered solution for the controlled removal of key locking inserts from parent materials. Designed for precision, efficiency, and repeatability, this kit transforms the way insert removal and thread repair are performed. Traditional methods of removing key locking inserts often require drilling out the insert’s core. A small mishap can result in accidentally drilling into the parent material, forcing the repair to oversize the hole and re-thread it. This process can compromise component strength, increase repair time, and add unnecessary machining steps.
The EXTRAKT Kit eliminates these risks by providing all the tools required for a controlled and reliable insert removal process.
At the core of the kit is the Extrakt tool, which is designed to guide the removal process with precision.
